In traditional Chinese mythology, the Jade Emperor held a great race to determine the order of the zodiac.
The first twelve animals to finish earned a place in the lunar calendar — each influencing the traits, destiny, and fortune of people born in their year.
This coin pays tribute to that timeless legend by bringing all twelve animals together in one beautifully balanced composition.
At the centre is the bagua, a Taoist symbol of harmony, combining eight trigrams that represent universal yin-yang energies. The taijitu (yin-yang symbol) reinforces the theme of unity and balance between opposing forces.
